WORK SCHOLARSHIPS

The Collaborative Piano Institute aims to help participants financially as much as possible. We have a small administration team operating the heart of the program, and to keep tuition fees lower than comparable summer festivals and scholarships as high as possible, we rely on the help of work-study positions for our daily operations. Therefore, all financial aid awarded is through work-study scholarships.

The amount of work is proportional to the scholarship award granted, not to exceed 5 hours per week on average. Scholarship amounts will depend on individual financial need, the quality of performance demonstrated in audition videos, and the repertoire difficulty.

If you are interested in being considered for a scholarship, letters of recommendation are encouraged but not mandatory (please email them directly to us).

When you are filling out the application form, you will be asked to elaborate on why you are interested in one or more of the following positions:

1) Camera and Video Operators: set up audio and video streaming gear, track and upload recordings, etc.

2) Creative Media Directors: create audio and video content for use on social media

3) Social Media Coordinators: create written content, and maintain CPI’s presence on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube with the aid of the Creative Media Directors.
